N1 Islington Delancey

Coverdale Davis represented Delancey during the leasing campaign at N1 Islington. In September 2001 potential retailers, local VIPs and the appropriate press were invited to the trade launch. As it was a building site we erected a marquee within the space that was pre-let to the live music venue The Marquee Club.

In 2002 we hosted a local celebration to mark Jubilee Week and encouraged Delancey to sponsor an arts programme at one of the local schools. In June 2002 we launched N1 Islington to the general public with an attendance of over 18,000. We linked up with Smart Car to raffle a brand new car and in conjunction with the creative agency pre-promoted it to residents in targeted postcodes to encourage people to come along to the launch day.

The scheme was almost fully let by launch date.

N1 Islington won the BCSC Shopping Centre of the Year and the Property Marketing Awards Best Web Site design. It continues to trade very well and has made a huge difference to the shopping eating and drinking facilities in Islington.
