For several years Coverdale Davis represented The Blackstone Group's European Real Estate business student living concept Nido Student Living now the international brand for the growth of their student accommodation portfolio in Europe. We were responsible for the marketing across diverse cultural markets in the UK, Europe and further afield in Asia. We masterminded the brand concept,following a year of extensive research and planning.
The Blackstone Group's first major development Nido London located in King' s Cross opened in September 2008. Nido London is the two-tower landmark (379,500 sq ft and 59.7m tall from ground to 16th floors) on Pentonville Road within 5 underground stops of all major London universities. Blackstone is launching a second London site in Spitalfields and a third in Barcelona - the brand's first international site. Both sites will open for business in 2010.
